It’s been a long break since I last wrote a blog. Though I have tried to stay active on my social media platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram but there is something about blogging that feels different. It offers me the freedom to express freely, without the constraint of word limit.
So, coming straight to the point…. I am renewing my blog-writing journey. Why? This time, I am not answering that for anyone else but myself. Because before I share my story, I need to be crystal clear on my “Why?’
Why did I learn to blog professionally?
It all began 10 years back when I hung up my corporate boots to become a stay-at-home mom, but wanted to do something productive in my free time, and yes, earn as well while doing it.
Around that time, I attended an event where a professional blogger shared how she became her own boss, enjoying freedom while earning through her writing. That idea struck a chord with me.
Why did I start professionally on my own?
I was at home with some free time on hand and could write also. More importantly, I was learning so much as a parent, a mother while bringing up my two daughters and I felt a deep urge to connect with other parents, mothers and build up a space where we could share and grow together. Blogging seemed like the perfect way to do just that.

Why did I invest in a professional blog page?
I believe if you do something, do it right. I am a self-proclaimed perfectionist (does it sound familiar to you? Can you relate?).
I wanted to create a platform that was not just about sharing but doing it with professionalism and purpose. I knew a polished and consistent approach would help me reach more parents and start meaningful conversations.

Why did I stop?
Hmmm… It may seem easy balancing professional and personal life, especially as a working mother, whether fulltime or as a freelancer, but it is not as easy as it looks.
Juggling family responsibilities while trying to maintain consistency became overwhelming. And like many, I too paused. But over time, I learned a crucial lesson – balance is not impossible, it just takes patience and practice.
Why am I starting again?
Million dollar question 😊Because now, I know how to balance both worlds, and I still carry the same passion to connect. I want this space to be a dialogue – ‘kuch hum kahein kuch tum kaho, kuch hum sunein kuch tum suno’, where we share our journeys and learn from each other.
This time, I am here to stay with my stories, experiences, and lessons, both the wins and the stumbles.
I am not promising that every post will resonate with you but I am here and I am listening.
